What are the requirements for a greyhound to stay at the greyhounds-only B&B?

Pure greyhounds must be 2+ years old; 50+ lbs; healthy; 90+ days post adoption; medically compliant.
Should I bring my greyhound for a visit, before staying?
-
Disrupting the flow with visitors does not honor the commitment made to our greys and their families. We follow a very specific protocol for introductions.

Is there a Holiday Protocol?

Please plan knowing there are NO arrivals or departures during the weekends of HOLIDAY weeks.

Holidays: New Year's, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Arrivals & Departures are any day except for the day of the holiday or its Eve
Is there a minimum stay?

There is a 3-DAY minimum stay, limiting the transitional interruptions for all our guests’ greytcations.

What times are the arrivals/departures for Non-holiday greytcations?

Be sure to call (not text) when you are 5-10 minutes away from the B&B.
Do I need to portion out meals for each day?

Please bring food in 1 or 2 large, labeled, sealable bag(s)… i.e. Zipperlock.

All food bags are kept together in a large stainless-steel container, ensuring freshness and freedom from pests. Mealtimes are 6am & 4pm.

Please label EVERYTHING.

Backup food is available ($5 per meal) if not enough food is sent. We feed Salmon (dry) & Tuna (wet).

Is there an additional charge for dispensing medications and/or
supplements?

There is no additional charge

If all meds are organized in a daily pill box to be administered at meals.

If NOT organized, the charge is $5 per day.

Always provide a hiding method for each pill

(i.e., cheese or pill pocket).

Heart, Seizure, & Chemotherapy medications can no longer be dispensed at the B&B.
Should I bring items such as toys, blankets, pillows, bowls, or beds?

We provide all these items, avoiding resource guarding.
